The Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) will also now conduct the 10th board examination twice a year on the lines of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). The RBSE Secretary has issued an official order in this regard on Monday. This whole exercise is to reduce the stress of the students regarding the board exams. In this regard, the new system of 10th examination is being implemented twice a year, which will be implemented from the academic session 2026-27. Under the new system, the best of 2 rule will be applicable for 10th board exam students.

Come on, let’s know what it is like to take the Rajasthan Board 10th Board Exam twice in a year. You will know when the first exam will be conducted and when the second exam will be conducted. We will know what is the rule of best of 2.

The first exam in February-March will be compulsory for everyone

The Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) on Monday issued orders regarding the conduct of the 10th board examination, under which the first examination of the 10th will be held in February-March, which will be compulsory for all students enrolling in the 10th. If a person does not appear in the first exam of 10th then he will not be able to appear in the second exam.

Second exam in May-June, students will be able to give only 3 subject exam

According to the order issued by the Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE), the second examination of class 10 will be conducted in May-June every year. The second examination will be conducted only for those students who are not satisfied with the result of the first examination or have failed. Under the second examination, students will get the facility to sit for only 3 subjects. For example, if a student fails in more than three subjects in the first examination, he will be considered as failed and will have to appear in the main examination next year.

No supplementary examination will be conducted

Under the new system, Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) will not conduct 10th board supplementary exams. Till now, supplementary examination was conducted for students who were not satisfied with the failing marks in the 10th board main examination. Now two examinations of class 10 will be conducted, so no supplementary examination will be conducted.

How will the Best of 2 rule work?

Under the new system, the Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) will prepare the 10th board exam result based on the best of 2 rule. For example, under the new system, there will be two Class 10 exams. The second exam is mainly conducted to pass and improve marks. In such a situation, there is a confusion in the minds of the students that what will happen if the second exam is given to improve the marks and the marks are less than the first exam. Clarifying this, the Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) said that the result of the 10th board examination will be prepared according to the best of 2 rule. For example, students will get more marks in any exam in any subject. Only those numbers will be used to prepare the result.
