Apply online till 5th November, then late fee of Rs 500
Applications for CSIR-UGC NET December 2026 can be made till 5th November. Application can be done online. Candidates can apply online by visiting the official website of NTA CSIR-UGC NET on 5th November till 11.50 PM. If a candidate could not apply till 5th November then he can apply from 6th to 9th November with late fee. Online application can be made till 11.50 pm on 9th November with a late fee of Rs 500.
Opportunity for correction till 12th November
As per the schedule of CSIR-UGC NET December 2026 released by NTA, after the completion of the application form filling process, there will be an opportunity to make corrections, under which candidates can make online corrections in the application form from 10 to 12 November 2026.
3 Days CSIR-UGC NET December 2026 Exam
CSIR-UGC NET December 2026 exam will be conducted by NTA for 3 days. As per the schedule announced by NTA, CSIR-UGC NET December 2026 exam will be conducted on 19, 22 and 27 December 2026. The exam will be conducted in two shifts daily. First shift exam will be conducted from 9 AM to 12 PM. So the second shift exam will be conducted from 3 pm to 6 pm.

CSIR-UGC NET December 2026 will be conducted in computer based exam i.e. CBT mode. The paper will be of 180 minutes duration. The paper will be available in both Hindi and English languages. CSIR-UGC NET is conducted in total 5 subjects. It includes subjects such as chemical sciences, earth, atmospheric, oceanic and planetary sciences, life sciences and biotechnology, mathematical sciences and physical sciences.
