10th pass in Delhi is an opportunity for youth to get government jobs. Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB) has invited applications for the posts of Chowkidar and Cleaner. Total 25 vacancies will be filled under this recruitment. It includes 15 posts of watchman and 10 posts of cleaners. Online applications for this recruitment will be accepted from 13 October 2026. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online through the official website of the board dsssb.delhi.gov.in. The selected candidates will be appointed to the District and Sessions Courts of Delhi. Before applying, candidates must check the information about eligibility, age limit and selection process.

25 posts will be recruited

In this recruitment of DSSSB, 15 posts of Chowkidar and 10 posts of Sweeper are fixed. Both posts will be appointed under Group C. Selected candidates will get salary as per fixed pay scale. Apart from this, the benefits of other allowances and facilities will also be given as per the government rules.

Who can apply?

To apply, candidate must have 10th pass from a recognized board. The age limit is fixed at 18 to 27 years. Candidates belonging to reserved category will get relaxation in age limit as per rules. OBC category will be given relaxation of three years and SC/ST category will be given relaxation of five years.

How much application fee has to be paid?

The general application fee for this recruitment is Rs 100. However, candidates belonging to women, SC, ST and PwBD categories are exempted from the application fee. These candidates will not have to pay any fee.

How will the candidates be selected?

Selection for the posts of Chowkidar and Cleaning Staff will be done on the basis of written test and interview. A total of 100 objective oriented questions will be asked in the written examination. There will be 25 questions each from Hindi, English, General Knowledge and Arithmetic. Based on the marks obtained in the written examination, candidates 10 times the total number of vacancies will be selected for interview. Interview will be of total 15 marks, which will be conducted by District and Sessions Court Office.

How many marks are required in the exam?

To crack the written exam, it is mandatory to secure 50 percent marks for General and EWS category candidates. Whereas, the minimum cutoff has been kept at 45 percent for OBC (Delhi), SC, ST, PwBD and ESM category candidates. There is also a provision of negative marking in the exam, under which 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
