To promote quality and modern methods in the field of education, Bihar Government has launched a very unique and commendable initiative. Under this initiative, selected and best teachers of the state will be sent abroad for study, so that they can closely study the education system there. The main objective of this ambitious scheme of the Education Department is to understand the modern models, methods and techniques of study abroad and implement them in the education system of Bihar.

The implementation of this scheme will also enable the students studying in government schools of the state to benefit from world-class education.

Criteria for selection of teachers will be decided after 6th

To make the entire process transparent and streamlined, the Education Department has decided to set special criteria for selection. The work on the draft of these norms will be started soon after the upcoming sixth festival. During this time, it will also be clearly decided to which countries the selected teachers will be sent for study. The department plans to identify countries with the best education systems in the world, where teachers can study in depth the school curriculum, the curriculum set for children and the modern style of teaching.

Teachers have to apply

The selection process of teachers will be purely based on qualification and efficiency, for which a clear scale of marks will be prepared. However, teachers have to apply for this. The applied teachers will be given marks based on their academic qualification, their activity in the school and other constructive participation. Only after the evaluation of these marks will it be decided which teacher will get the opportunity to go abroad. For this, applications of qualified teachers from all districts will be invited through the District Education Officer, so that full transparency is maintained in the entire selection process.

Teachers in foreign countries will learn this

This special team of expatriate teachers will study every aspect of the working culture of the schools there. He will see how children are taught abroad, what are their classroom techniques and how other co-activities are carried out with studies. Apart from this, they will study how homework given there is evaluated and how there is mutual coordination between teachers and parents.

After returning from the foreign tour, these teachers will have to prepare a detailed study report and submit it to the Education Department headquarters, which will be reviewed by the concerned authorities so that the best practices can be adopted in Bihar as well.
