Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi has opportunities for candidates interested in pursuing a career in the field of robotics. The institute has invited applications for the fourth batch of Robotics Executive Programme. This five-month online course will provide training in robotics, artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning and robot control. Along with theoretical information, practical work will also be emphasized in the course. Candidates can apply till 17 October 2026. Classes will start from January 2027. In such a situation, this course can be useful for candidates who are planning to enhance their knowledge and skills in the technical field.

The online program is for five months

This program of IIT Delhi is being conducted under the Institute’s Continuing Education Program (CEP). Its duration is five months. The classes will start from 30 January 2027 and will continue till 26 June 2027. Online classes will be conducted on Saturdays and every other Sunday. Their timings are fixed from 10 am to 2:30 pm.

Who can apply?

To apply for this course, a candidate must possess a bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution. Candidates with minimum 50 percent marks in degree are eligible to apply. Interested candidates must complete the online application process within the stipulated time.

Will get training in robotics and AI

The program will explain the application of AI and machine learning in robotic systems, along with basic knowledge of robotics and automation. Apart from this, techniques related to robot design, use of sensors, speed control and operation of the robot will be taught.

The course also includes information on robot simulation, embedded systems and programming tools. 40 percent of his studies will be based on theory and 60 percent on practical work. During the course participants will also have the opportunity to build a working robot.

When to apply?

The fee for this robotics program of IIT Delhi is Rs 1,69,000. 18 percent GST has to be paid separately on it. A fee of Rs 1,000 has been fixed for the application which will not be refunded.
