Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has released a notification for Combined Lower Subordinate Services Examination i.e. Lower PCS Recruitment. UPSSSC has released a notification for the recruitment of total 1,784 posts under Lower PCS Recruitment. UPSSSC has announced inviting applications for filling up total 12 types of posts under Lower PCS. This is an inter level recruitment, under which 12 pass candidates can apply.

The application process will start from November 10
The notification for UPSSSC Lower PCS Recruitment 2026 has been released on October 16, inviting applications for the recruitment of 1,784 posts in 12 categories. Applications can be made online by visiting the official website of UPSSSC. The application process will start from 10 November 2026. Last date for submission of application and fee is 1 December 2026. Changes in the form can be done till December 8. The exam date will be announced later.
Recruitment of 1,784 posts of these 12 types
UPSSSC has announced to fill 1784 posts under Lower PCS Recruitment 2026, in which 235 posts of Commercial Tax Collection Amin are to be filled. Similarly 187 posts of Land Acquisition Amin, 118 of Storekeeper and Clerk, 2 of Storekeeper and Clerk (Special Recruitment), 50 of Cooperative Agriculture Inspector, 5 of Home Mata, 14 of Tableau, 137 of Social Welfare Supervisor, 52 of Village Development Officer, 52 of Development Officer. 2 posts of Gram Panchayat Officer, 2 posts of Farm Clerk and 1 post of Salespers are to be filled.
Who can apply?
12th pass candidates can apply for UPSSSC Lower PCS Recruitment 2026. However, candidates must attend PET-2025. Scorecard of PET-2025 shall be attached with the application, in which marks should be more than zero. Only candidates between 18 years to 40 years can apply. Age will be calculated as on 1st July 2026. Reserved category will get 5 years relaxation in age limit. While state government employees and candidates applying from sports quota will get age relaxation as per rules. However, additional qualifications are also sought for some posts, read the notification in detail.
How will the selection be made?
The prescribed selection process for UPSSSC Lower PCS Recruitment 2026 will be completed in 3 phases. Applications received in the first phase will be shortlisted. Based on PET-2025, 15 times more candidates will be selected for the mains exam than category wise posts. In the second phase, a written examination will be conducted. In the third stage, document verification will take place, in which educational certificate, PET scorecard, identity card and reservation related documents will be verified.
