Google has launched its new experimental app Dreambeans in India. With the help of this app, users will get to see stories prepared with the help of AI every day according to their choice. The special thing is that this will not require users to search for anything or ask any questions.
The app will create personalized stories based on information from other Google apps like Gmail, Google Photos, Calendar, Search, Gemini and YouTube. According to the company, DreamBeans is made available to users 18 years of age or older. It can be downloaded on both Android and iOS platforms.
What is the Google Dreambeans app and how does it work?
According to Google, DreamBeans is an experimental application, developed under Google Labs. It aims to provide users with easy access to information relevant to their preferences and needs. Usually, people have to scroll through social media feeds or search for something on the internet to get new information. But Dreambeans itself will prepare and show a new story every day as per the choice of users.
This app takes information from the Google account and service selected by the users. These include Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Photos, Google Search, Gemini and YouTube. Based on information from these apps, DreamBeans can show stories that are relevant to the user’s interests and daily needs.
For example, the app can tell you about places you want to visit. In addition, it can also show reminders related to arts and crafts, nearby events and important upcoming tasks. Users can open these stories and get more information about them. A story you like can also be saved to read later. Apart from this you will also get the option to share with others. Users can also provide their feedback in the app, which will help Google improve the stories.
The app will also be able to convert photos to videos with AI
Another special feature is provided in Dreambeans. With its help, the pictures shown in some selected stories can be animated. Google is using its Veo AI video generation model for this. This means that in some stories, users will see movement instead of still images.
Google Dreambeans is available in 14 languages
Google has made Dreambeans available in India for users aged 18 years and above. It can be downloaded on both Android and iOS devices. The app supports a total of 14 languages. These include English, Hindi, Bengali, Telugu, Marathi, Tamil, Urdu, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Oriya, Punjabi, Assamese and Nepali. However, users can create their stories by selecting only one language at a time.
