CHENNAI, November 4, 2026: Rajinikanth’s much-awaited action sequel Jailer 2 could offer audiences more than what they saw in theaters. The film’s digital version may include approximately 30 minutes of additional footage, bringing back several scenes reportedly removed from the theatrical release.
Directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, the sequel arrived in theaters on October 15 and featured a star-studded cast. Following its successful theatrical run, attention has now shifted to its digital premiere and the possibility of an extended version.
According to a report by News18 cited by The Times of India, the Jailer 2 OTT version may arrive with additional scenes featuring Mohanlal, Vijay Sethupathi, Hrithik Roshan and Santhanam.
However, neither the filmmakers nor the streaming platforms have officially confirmed the extended cut or its additional runtime.
