UP Outsourcing Employees Salary Hike: Employees working through outsourcing in Uttar Pradesh’s Basic Education Department are set to receive higher monthly remuneration. The state has approved an increase of up to 25% for employees posted at district project offices under the Samagra Shiksha programme.

The revised rates will benefit employees working as stenographers, accountants, assistant accountants, typists, clerks and computer operators. According to reports, the revised remuneration is expected to be paid from October 2026.

Which Outsourced Employees Will Get the Benefit?

The increase applies to outsourced staff working in district project offices of the Basic Education Department.

The revised remuneration covers six categories of employees, including stenographers, accountants, assistant accountants, typists, clerks and computer operators. These workers are engaged through service providers rather than directly appointed as regular government employees.

New Monthly Salary After 25% Increase

The biggest increase in rupee terms will be for stenographers and accountants. Their monthly remuneration has been revised from ₹18,560 to ₹23,200.

Assistant accountants will now receive ₹14,500 per month, while typists, clerks and computer operators will receive ₹13,775 per month.

When Will the Revised Pay Be Paid?

The increased remuneration is being prepared for payment from October 2026. Reports based on the state-level order say that employees will not receive arrears for the earlier period.

The state project office has instructed officials in the districts to ensure that payments are made according to the revised rates and that the process remains transparent.

375 Employees Across Uttar Pradesh to Benefit

The decision is expected to benefit around 375 outsourced employees working in district project offices across Uttar Pradesh.

Reports state that five outsourced employees are working in each district project office, with the workforce spread across the state’s districts. The employees are engaged through service providers under the Samagra Shiksha framework.

The Amar Ujala report said the revised payment will be funded through the MMMER head of Samagra Shiksha, while district authorities have been directed to ensure payment according to the new rates.

What This Salary Revision Means for Employees

For employees previously receiving ₹18,560, the revised monthly remuneration of ₹23,200 means an increase of ₹4,640 every month. For those receiving ₹11,600, the increase works out to ₹2,900 per month.

Similarly, employees whose earlier remuneration was ₹11,020 will now receive ₹13,775, giving them an additional ₹2,755 each month.

The revision therefore changes the monthly remuneration structure for several categories of outsourced staff working in Uttar Pradesh’s Basic Education Department.
