In this regard, CGEPT 2027 registration process is being started. The registration process is starting from October 6.

Recruitment to the post of Seaman in Coast Guard from CGEPT.
The route for recruitment to seaman and mechanic posts in the Indian Coast Guard is through the Coast Guard Enrolled Personnel Test (CGEPT), an all-India computer-based examination. On the basis of the merit of this examination one gets appointment to the post of seaman in Coast Guard. Coast Guard Recruitment for CGEPT through SSC, registration has to be done accordingly. Examination is conducted after registration.
CGEPT will start from October 6
Indian Coast Guard has informed about the commencement of registration process for CGEPT-01/27 and CGEPT-02/27 batch. In this category, the registration process for the recruitment in both the batches is starting from October 6. Under this recruitment process, Coast Guard Sailor General Duty (GD) and Sailor Domestic Branch (GB) posts will be recruited.
Who can apply?
12 pass candidates can register for recruitment on the post of Seaman (GD). However, it is necessary to have studied Physics and Maths in 12th standard. The age limit is fixed at 18 to 22 years. More information can be obtained from the notification.
What is the selection process?
Talking about the selection process for Coast Guard recruitment, it is based on 4 stages. In the first phase, a computer-based written test is conducted, in which the physical fitness of the successful candidates is tested. Document verification takes place in the third stage and medical examination takes place in the fourth stage. Then the final merit is released.

Coast Guard invites applications through Staff Selection Commission (SSC). Registration can be done through the official recruitment website of Coast Guard, joinindiancoastguard.cdac.in and www.ssc.gov.in.
