In NCERT’s 4-day online training from October 12, teachers will get information about digital tools and AI

The National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) is going to launch a four-day online training program for teachers and school administrators. The program will be organized from 12 to 15 October 2026 in association with Google for Education. Its name is Digital Toolkit for Teachers. In which teachers will be given information about the use of digital tools and artificial intelligence (AI). The objective of the training is to facilitate communication, time management and academic work for the teachers. Interested teachers can participate through online mode.

The online training will run for one hour every morning

This training program of NCERT will be conducted for four consecutive days. All its sessions will run from 10 am to 11 am. Each day a different topic related to digital technology will be explained. The program will also provide practical information along with expert sessions, so that teachers can apply the techniques learned in their work. The initiative focuses on promoting digital education and effective communication in line with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.

Through these sessions, teachers can learn how to organize school activities, share important information and organize administrative work.

There will be training in these digital tools

This program will cover the use of digital tools like Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Meet, Google Chat and Google Sites. Apart from this, practical use of AI related features will also be addressed. With these tools, teachers can do things like send official emails, schedule meetings, create academic calendars, and organize digital content. Online communication and group work can also be facilitated through Google Meet and Google Chat.
