There is a big update for the candidates who are preparing to appear for the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) recruitment exam. SSC has released the schedule of three recruitment exams, under which SSC has announced the dates of Junior Engineer (JE) Paper-1, Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police and Central Armed Police Force (CAPF) and Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level Examination (CHSL) Tier-I exam. The examinations for these three recruitment examinations will be conducted in November-December 2026. Along with releasing the schedule, SSC has made it clear that the candidates should keep checking the website for updates, under which information about the city slip, admit card and date for the recruitment exam will be provided.
According to the recruitment exam schedule announced by SSC, the exams for the three recruitments will be held between November 2 to December 31, 2026. All examinations will be conducted in Computer-Based Examination (CBE) mode.
SSC JE Paper-1 Exam from 2nd November
According to the recruitment exam schedule announced by SSC, Junior Engineer (JE) Paper-1 exam will be conducted from November 2 to November 6, 2026. SSC has clarified that this exam will be computer based. This may include those candidates who have applied for SSC JE Recruitment.
Delhi Police, CAPF SI Exam from 20 November
SSC, Delhi Police and Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) Sub-Inspector (SI) Recruitment 2026 Exams will start from November 20 as per the recruitment exam time table released by SSC, which will continue till November 28. These exams will also be conducted online in CBE mode.
SSC CHSL Tier-1 Exam from 30 November
As per the recruitment exam schedule announced by SSC, SSC CHSL 2026 Tier-1 exam will start from 30th November, which will last till 31st December. Actually, SSC CHSL i.e. ‘Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level’ recruitment exam is conducted for recruitment to various posts. This is also a computer based exam.
Dates are only proposed, not final
SSC has said in the notice issued that these recruitment exam dates are only proposed. If necessary, they can be changed. In such a situation, SSC advises to keep getting updates from the website. The SSC also said that information regarding city slips, admit cards and reporting for the exam will be released later.
