Hulu has released the first trailer for The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives: Orange County, expanding its reality television franchise with a new group of influencers navigating relationships, religious identity and disagreements over traditional values.
The upcoming series is scheduled to premiere on November 12, 2026, with all 10 episodes available on Hulu in the United States. The show will also stream on Disney+ internationally, according to Hulu’s official announcement.
What the New Orange County Series Is About
Unlike the original series, which follows a group of Mormon mothers in Utah, the Orange County edition introduces a different social circle in Southern California. The women face tensions over faith, modern lifestyles and the expectations placed on them within their community.
The trailer teases disagreements between cast members who want to preserve traditional values and others who are more willing to challenge established norms. It also hints at relationship complications, secrets and shifting friendships that could shape the first season.
The new show aims to build its own identity rather than simply recreate the original series’ social media-driven MomTok culture. Its cast members are influencers and content creators with their own audiences, relationships and public profiles.
‘The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives: Orange County’ Cast
The announced cast includes several recognizable online personalities alongside newcomers to the franchise. Jen Affleck, who appeared in the original The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, provides a connection between the two shows.
Other cast members include Aspyn Ovard, Bobbi Althoff, Avery Woods, Ashleigh Pease, Jordan McClanahan, Madison Bontempo, McCall DaPron and Salomé Andrea. Together, they bring different perspectives on family life, relationships and religious identity.
McCall DaPron is also the sister of original-series cast member Mayci Neeley. That family connection gives the new series another link to the established franchise while introducing viewers to a separate group of women.
Jen Affleck Explains How the New Group Came Together
In the trailer, Affleck describes moving to Orange County after appearing on Dancing With the Stars. She explains that she had developed friendships with two different groups of women connected to the Mormon church and brought them together.
That decision appears central to the show’s setup. The cast members do not necessarily share the same beliefs or expectations, creating opportunities for disagreements over relationships, family decisions and how much tradition should shape their lives.
The trailer also suggests that some women want to distinguish themselves from the original MomTok group. Whether their new circle can maintain that independence while navigating personal conflicts will be one of the series’ main storylines.
When and Where to Watch the Orange County Spinoff
The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives: Orange County premieres November 12, 2026. All 10 episodes are scheduled to arrive together on Hulu, while eligible Disney+ bundle subscribers in the United States can also watch through that service.
International viewers will be able to stream the series on Disney+, according to the official release announcement. The new installment expands the franchise as Hulu continues to develop reality programming centered on influencers and their personal lives.
