Ranbir Kapoor’s Ramayana: Part One has crossed ₹5 crore in reported advance ticket sales ahead of its theatrical release, with premium tickets in Mumbai reaching ₹2,770. The early numbers point to strong interest in one of the most anticipated Indian films of 2026.
According to ABP Live’s October 21 report, the film generated approximately ₹5.75 crore in gross advance bookings across India. The report, citing Sacnilk data, said 97,481 tickets had been sold across 3,470 shows at the time of reporting.
Ramayana Advance Booking
The Hindi version accounted for the bulk of the reported advance sales, generating around ₹5.44 crore. The Telugu version contributed approximately ₹66,900, while the Kannada version recorded about ₹29.99 lakh.
These figures include blocked seats in the reported total. Excluding blocked seats, the domestic gross advance booking figure stood at approximately ₹3.92 crore, according to the report.
Advance sales can change as more theaters open their booking windows and additional showtimes become available. The figures represent early ticket sales rather than the film’s final box office performance.
Ramayana Ticket Prices Reach ₹2,770 in Mumbai
Ticket prices have also attracted attention ahead of the release. According to ABP Live, some tickets for the film in Mumbai were priced as high as ₹2,770, reflecting the premium end of the theatrical market.
Prices can vary significantly depending on the city, cinema, seat category and screening format. Premium large-format screenings and luxury recliner seats typically cost more than standard theater seats, so the highest listed price does not represent what every moviegoer will pay.
Ranbir Kapoor as Rama, Yash as Ravana
Directed by Nitesh Tiwari and produced by Namit Malhotra, Ramayana: Part One brings the Indian epic to the big screen with a high-profile cast. Ranbir Kapoor plays Lord Rama, while Yash takes on the role of Ravana.
Sai Pallavi plays Sita, Sunny Deol appears as Hanuman, and Ravie Dubey portrays Lakshman. The film is planned as a two-part cinematic adaptation, with the first installment scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on November 5, 2026.
When Will Ramayana Release in Theaters?
Ramayana: Part One is scheduled to arrive in cinemas worldwide on November 5, three days before Diwali. The release is planned across multiple languages and premium screening formats, targeting audiences in India and international markets.
The early advance booking figures provide an initial indication of audience interest, but the film’s eventual box office performance will depend on ticket sales closer to release, theater availability and audience response after the first screenings.
