The 24th installment of PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi will be released on October 30. Eligible farmers will get ₹2,000 directly into their bank accounts. The agriculture ministry had already announced October 23 as the payment date. Farmers who are waiting for this amount should check their information before releasing the installment.

Release of installment on this date does not mean that every registered farmer will get payment. Incomplete e-KYC or incorrect records may delay receipt of funds. Payment may also be affected if Aadhaar is not linked or there is a problem with land verification. Farmers should solve these problems in advance instead of waiting for the last day.

Completion of e-KYC is an essential condition under this scheme. This helps in verifying the identity of registered farmers. Farmers should also check whether their bank account is linked with Aadhaar or not. Also their land records should be verified and their personal information should be correct.

How to Check if You’re Eligible

Farmers can check their payment information through the official website of PM Kisan. Open pmkisan.gov.in on your mobile phone or computer. Select ‘Know Your Status’ option and enter your registration number. After this, enter the captcha code shown on the screen and select ‘Get OTP’. Enter the OTP received on your registered mobile number to proceed.

Your information and beneficiary status will appear on the next screen. Check if your e-KYC is complete and see if there are any errors. Follow the instructions provided if there is any work to be done. If you need help correcting your records, contact the relevant service center.

How to complete e-KYC

  • Farmers have three options to complete e-KYC: OTP, fingerprint or face authentication. For OTP method, Aadhaar linked mobile number is required. Farmers can use this option through PM Kisan website or mobile app.
  • For verification on the website, select ‘e-KYC’ and enter your Aadhaar number. After this, enter the OTP received on the mobile number linked with your Aadhaar. Follow the rest of the instructions carefully to complete this process. Then, check your status again to make sure the verification was successful.
  • Farmers can also visit the ‘Common Service Centre’ for fingerprint verification. A ‘Rajya Seva Kendra’ option is also available for those who need help. This can help those farmers who find it difficult to use the online method.
  • Verification can be completed through mobile phone through face authentication. Download ‘PM-KISAN’ app and ‘Aadhaar Face RD’ app from Google Play Store. Log in to PM-KISAN using the mobile number registered in this scheme. Open ‘Beneficiary Status’ and check e-KYC status. If it says “No”, select e-KYC and follow the instructions to scan the face.
  • Farmers should complete their pending checks before October 30 and keep their required documents ready. By keeping correct records, payment problems can be avoided and unnecessary trips to the service center will be avoided. After this check your bank account.
