Let us tell you that these new prices will be applicable from October 1, 2026. The company has increased the car prices by 1.2 percent. However, the increase will not be the same for each car and its different variants. According to the company, the cost of manufacturing and running the car has increased. This change in prices has been made for this reason.
Skoda’s sales have also increased
The year 2025 has been a very good one for Skoda. The company sold 72,655 cars during the period, its highest sales in a year. In the first half of 2026 i.e. from January to June, the company recorded its highest ever H1 sales. As of August 2026, Skoda has sold over 50,000 cars in India. The company’s sales have increased by more than 8 percent compared to the same period last year.
Cars like Kylaq, Kushaq and Slavia have contributed significantly to the growth of Skoda in India. The company has so far sold more than 2.5 lakh locally manufactured cars in India. It includes more than 75,000 units of Kailak alone. The company has also expanded its network of showrooms and service centers across the country to increase its sales. Currently, Skoda has more than 345 touchpoints across 193 cities.
A new Slavia facelift is also coming soon
Skoda is also soon going to launch a new facelift model of its popular sedan Slavia. The new Skoda Slavia facelift will be launched on 6 October 2026. Its booking has started and can be booked by paying Rs 15,000.
Some changes have also been made to the look of the new Slavia. It will get newly designed headlamps and tail lamps. Apart from this, the bumper has also been slightly modified. The car will get newly designed 16-inch alloy wheels. Two new colors have also been added to the new Slavia. These include Arctic Silver and Cappuccino Badge.
The car will also be changed inside
The cabin of the new Slavia will also see many changes. It will get a new 10.1-inch infotainment system with better graphics than before. Apart from this, a large 10.25-inch digital display will be available for the driver. A seat massager will also be provided for rear passengers.
The front seats will have power adjustment and ventilation. This means it will help keep the seat cool in the summer season. The car will also have support for wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
What will you get in the engine?
The existing petrol engines will continue in the new Slavia. It will have a 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine, which produces 115bhp. Apart from this, a 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine option will also be available, which produces 150bhp.
Now a new 8-speed automatic gearbox will also be available with the 1.0-litre engine. Along with this, the 6-speed manual gearbox option will remain the same as before. While the 1.5-litre engine will only be available with a 7-speed DCT automatic gearbox. That is, the biggest changes in the new Slavia will be seen in its looks, features and gearbox, while the engine options will remain the same.
