Royal Enfield recorded its highest ever monthly sales in September 2026. The company sold a total of 1,33,958 motorcycles this month. In September 2025, this figure was 1,24,328 units. That is, sales have increased by 8 percent annually. The company’s domestic sales have also increased. 1,21,326 Royal Enfield motorcycles were sold in India in September, which is 7 percent higher than the same month last year. At the same time, exports increased by 17 percent to 12,632 units.

More than 7 lakh bikes sold in 6 months

Royal Enfield has sold a total of 7,09,096 motorcycles in the first half of FY 2027 i.e. from April to September 2026. The company’s sales were 5,91,903 units in the corresponding period of last financial year. In this way, the total sales have increased by 20 percent in six months. During the period, the company sold 6,42,021 bikes in the domestic market, which is 23 percent higher than the 5,21,482 units sold in the same period last year. However, exports have declined. During April-September 2026, the company exported 67,075 motorcycles, while the figure was 70,421 units in the same period last year.

Himalayan 440 received tremendous response

The September sales record comes at a time when Royal Enfield launched its new Himalayan 440. The company introduced it at the first Himalayan basecamp organized in Ladakh. The Himalayan 440 has a 443cc long-stroke engine, mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The bike has undergone a lot of changes on the mechanical level as well.

According to the company, the Himalayan 440 has received a better response than the expectations of the customers. Its demand is so high that the bikes are fully booked for about six months. Currently new bookings are closed and will resume after production.

A new variant of the Classic 350 has also arrived

Royal Enfield also introduced the signature white variant of the Classic 350 in September. It is included in the top variant of the bike. It has features like premium brown touring seats, assist and slipper clutch, adjustable clutch and brake lever.

Apart from this, USB Type-C fast charging and tripper pod are also available as standard. This variant slots above the Classic 350 range alongside the Emerald Green edition.

Global introduction of Flying Flea C6

Royal Enfield’s electric motorcycle brand Flying Flea also entered the international market in September. The Flying Flea C6 was launched in Europe and the UK. The company also has Flying Flea stores and separate service support in Paris, Barcelona, ​​Rome, Berlin and London. Delivery of bikes to these cities is planned to start from October 2026.

The domestic market picked up the pace of sales

Royal Enfield’s data for the first six months of fiscal 2027 shows that the company’s domestic sales have grown more than exports. Domestic sales during April to September increased by 1,20,539 motorcycles compared to the same period last year. On the other hand, exports have decreased by 3,346 units. However, increased sales in the domestic market kept the company’s overall sales strong. Royal Enfield’s total sales increased by 1,17,193 motorcycles in six months and the company’s total sales increased by 20 percent.
