After a hectic September, India’s IPO calendar is now set for a quiet week. Only one new issue is opening for subscription, while around 29 companies are preparing to make their debut in the listing market. In September, companies raised around Rs. RK Fashion Accessories IPO

  • Next week, the only IPO to open for subscription is that of RK Fashion Accessories, an NSE SME issue. Company through fresh issue of 42.67 lakh shares at Rs. 35 crore is being planned to be collected.
  • The IPO will open on 5th October and close on 7th October. Price band per share Rs. 77-82 has been fixed and the lot size is 1,600 shares. For retail investors, the minimum investment at the upper end of the price band is Rs. 2.62 lakh will be.
  • The Kolkata-based company manufactures and sells imitation jewelery through contract manufacturers and also deals in branded cosmetics.
  • It operates through wholesale, retail and online channels and plans to use the IPO proceeds for working capital, new plating facility in Baruipur, B2B showroom in Kolkata, completion of B2C stores and inventory for new outlets.
  • The absence of any major mainboard IPOs is a clear sign of stagnation after September’s rush. But now the focus will be on listings, where gray market trends are showing interest in some choice names.
  • Gray market premiums are unofficial indicators and can change quickly before listing, but traders often monitor them to gauge market mood.

Many companies will be listed

  • Among the listings scheduled for next week, the gray market premium is highest for Orient Cables’ mainboard IPO. Its GMP is Rs. 123 or Rs. 272 is 45.22 percent of the issue price. Rs. This issue of 552 crores is going to be listed on October 5. Black Opal Consultants is another issue that is attracting a lot of interest in the gray market.   • Everest IMS Technologies, which is slated to list on October 8, has a GMP of Rs. 40, which is Rs. 85 represents a premium of 47.06 percent over the issue price.
