Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has started the application process for Bihar Teacher Recruitment Test (TRE) 4.0 ie Teacher Recruitment 2026. Importantly, after releasing the revised notification, BPSC has started the application process for TRE 4.0, under which the written exam will now be conducted in Bihar in one phase.

First of all go to the official website of BPSC.
Click on the TRE 4.0 or Advertisement Number link that appears on the home page.
A new web page will open. Complete the registration process there.
After registration, log in and fill the application form.
Enter the required personal and educational details in the application form.
Upload required documents and certificates.
Pay the application fee.
Check all the details before submitting the form.
Press the submit button to submit the form.

Recruitment of 32,388 teachers

Under Bihar TRE 4.0, 32,388 teachers are to be recruited, out of which a maximum of over 16 thousand teachers are to be recruited for senior secondary i.e. 11th and 12th classes. Let’s know how many posts are going to be recruited for which category.

The recruitment exam will be conducted in a single phase

BPSC had decided to conduct TRE 4.0 in the first two phases, over which candidates had protested. Now BPSC TRE 4.0 will be conducted in a single phase, under which BPSC TRE 4.0 written exam will be conducted. The written exam will be of 150 marks, in which 150 questions will be asked. 2 hours 30 minutes time will be given to solve the questions. All questions will be Multiple Choice (MCQ).
