The use of AI and machine learning in the healthcare sector continues to grow. The role of AI is becoming essential in tasks such as patient screening, disease diagnosis, medical imaging, clinical research and hospital management. Keeping this growing need in mind, IIT Delhi has launched an executive program related to Healthcare AI. This six-month online program is specially designed for professionals and researchers who want to understand the technology of AI in healthcare. The special thing is that knowledge of coding is not mandatory for this course. Interested candidates can apply till 15 October 2026.
The Healthcare AI program will run until 30 May 2027
Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi has announced the third batch of the Executive Program for AI in Healthcare under its Continuing Education Program (CEP). The course will start from 12th December 2026 and will run till 30th May 2027. The program will be completely online and its duration is six months.
Who can apply?
Professionals and researchers who have completed graduation from a recognized institution can apply for this program. This program is particularly useful for industry and academic professionals related to healthcare, data science or biological sciences. No need to be a coding expert to participate in this. Candidates with non-technical background can also apply.
Live classes will be held on weekends
Classes will be held on weekends aimed at working professionals. There will be live online sessions led by experts on Saturday from 6 to 7:30 pm and on Sunday from 11 am to 12:30 pm.
Fee Rs. 1.50 lakhs
The total fee for this course is Rs. 1,50,000 is. Apart from this 18 percent GST has to be paid. The fee can be deposited in two equal installments. Each installment of Rs. 75,000 plus GST will be. A two-day workshop will also be organized at the IIT Delhi campus at the end of the program. Along with this, the capstone project will also have to be completed under the guidance of the faculty.
There will be training in AI and medical data
The program will cover AI, machine learning, deep learning and generative AI. Apart from this, the use of clinical data in areas such as agentic AI workflow, EMR and medical imaging will be explained. Participants will also be briefed on how to safely and responsibly implement AI models in real hospital systems.

Interested candidates can apply online till 15 October 2026. Application can be done through IIT Delhi official portal or CEP website cepqip.iitd.ac.in. Participants who successfully complete the course will be awarded an e-certificate from IIT Delhi (CEP).
