Who can appear for JEE Main 2027?
JEE Main is taken for admission in engineering. This is an all India entrance exam. For example, students who want to pursue engineering i.e. B.Tech can appear for JEE Main. Appearing in JEE Main is also required to appear in JEE Advanced which is taken for admission in IITs. For this, one has to be among the top 2.5 lakh qualified candidates in JEE Main. While in JEE Main 2027 candidates studying 12th or 12th pass can appear in JEE Main. 12th should have Physics, Chemistry and Maths.
When to start registration for JEE Main 2027 Session 1?
NTA has not yet announced a date to start the JEE Main 2027 Session 1 registration process, but it is believed that the registration process will start from the end of October, under which candidates will get time till November 2026 to register i.e. apply. Session 1 is proposed in January. While the JEE Main session is proposed in April 2, the registration process for which is expected to start in February 2027. Candidates who have appeared in Session 1 can also appear in Session 2. Registration can be done online through the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in.
