This is an important update for the candidates who have appeared in the UGC NET June 2026 exam. National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the e-certificates of the exam. Eligible candidates for JRF, Assistant Professor and PhD admissions can now download their certificate online. For this they have to go to the official website of UGC NET ugcnet.nta.nic.in and login.

Application number and password will be required to download the certificate. Candidates are advised to keep the e-certificate safe after downloading, as it may be required in future admission or recruitment process.

Certificates issued in various categories

UGC NET June 2026 e-certificates are available according to different eligibility categories. This includes categories like JRF only, JRF and Assistant Professor, Assistant Professor and PhD admissions and PhD admissions only. Before downloading their certificate, candidates should check that it mentions their correct eligibility category.

The certificate will be useful later

UGC NET e-certificate is an important document for a candidate. Qualified candidates for Assistant Professor may require this during the recruitment process. Similarly, certificates may be sought from successful candidates in the PhD admission category during the admission process. Therefore, candidates are advised to download the e-certificate and keep its digital copy safe. A print out can also be taken if required.
