Nisarga Adhikari, who made her mark in the field of cyber security at the age of 19, is once again in the news. America has honored nature. Nisarga identified security-related flaws on the US Department of Justice (US DOJ) website and reported it to the relevant department. After his work, he has been inducted into the US DoJ’s Hall of Fame. Earlier also he exposed security flaws in CBSE’s On-Screen Marking (OSM) portal. Due to his cyber security skills, he got an opportunity to work as a Threat Intelligence Engineer at C3iHub, IIT Kanpur.

Inducted into the US DoJ Hall of Fame

Nisarga Adhikari shared information about this achievement on social media platform X. He also posted a screenshot of the US DoJ’s acknowledgment page. On this page, the names of researchers who have responsibly reported security-related flaws to the department are included.

While checking the security of the US Justice Department’s website, Nisarga identified some technical flaws. After this he informed the department about these defects so that necessary corrections could be made.

Flaws were also found in CBSE’s OSM portal

Nisarga was earlier recognized for exposing security flaws in the CBSE on-screen marking portal. OSM is a digital platform, used to upload and manage exam marks.

Nisarg started getting interested in cyber security at a young age. According to him, he started learning about computers and cyber security at the age of 13.

Become a Threat Intelligence Engineer at IIT Kanpur

After a reporting stint with the CBSE portal, Nisarga got an opportunity to work at IIT Kanpur’s technology innovation hub C3iHub. Here he worked as an Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) and Threat Intelligence Engineer. This work involves analyzing information related to cyber threats and identifying potential security threats.
