JSW MG Motor has launched the 2026 MG Hector Blackstorm and Snowstorm editions in India. Both the special editions are priced at ₹19,99,800 (ex-showroom). Both are limited editions of the 5-seater Hector. The company has made a lot of changes in its design, color, interior and accessories.

Both models have a 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine. This engine generates 143 PS of power and 250 Nm of torque. The engine is only offered with a CVT automatic gearbox.

What is different between Blackstorm and Snowstorm?

MG Hector Blackstorm has been given an all-black exterior theme. While Snowfall gets a pearly white body and a black ceiling of stars. Both models feature a Storm Hex grille, dark chrome MG logo, piano black roof rails, smoked connected taillamps and black headlamp bezels. The SUV gets red brake calipers behind the Aura Storm Blade alloy wheels. A dark finish is also available on the skid plates, body cladding and tailgate.

Both editions have black leather seats and the edition name is emblazoned on the front headrest. Apart from this, features like leather steering wheel with gunmetal finish, 8-color ambient lighting, dual-pane panoramic sunroof, air purifier and powered tailgate are available.

Screen and connected features

The Hector has a 35.56 cm portrait HD touchscreen and a 17.78 cm digital instrument cluster. The Smart Boost system speeds up screen processing. With the i-Swipe feature, climate, navigation and music can be controlled with two and three finger gestures. The i-Smart system offers over 70 connected features, digital Bluetooth keys, key sharing and predictive maintenance alerts. Audio, AC and ambient lighting can also be controlled from the phone.

Safety features

For safety, 360-degree HD camera, wheel view, front parking sensor, ABS, EBD, electronic stability control, traction control, hill-hold control and brake assist are offered. ADAS and rain sensing wipers are also available in the SUV. The company is also offering special badges, red tailgate accents, fog lamp detailing, ORVM protectors and side steps as part of the Storm Package. MG offers 100% finance option on on-road price for 84 months. In addition, the MG Shield 3+3+3 package includes 3 years unlimited kilometer warranty, 3 years roadside assistance and 3 free services.
