Fortnite players are waiting for the servers to come back online on Sunday, November 1, 2026, as Epic Games carries out scheduled maintenance for its latest v43.00 update. The downtime is connected to the arrival of new seasonal content.

According to Epic Games’ official status page, maintenance started at 5:00 AM UTC (1:00 AM EDT) on November 1. The scheduled maintenance window runs until 8:00 AM UTC, but the company has not guaranteed that all services will return at that exact time.

As of the latest status check at approximately 7:55 AM UTC, Fortnite’s maintenance was still listed as in progress. Login, matchmaking, game services and other online features remained unavailable.

When Will Fortnite Servers Be Back Up on November 1?

The scheduled maintenance window for the Fortnite v43.00 update is three hours, running from 5:00 AM to 8:00 AM UTC on November 1.

For players in the United States, the scheduled end time is 3:00 AM Eastern Standard Time and midnight Pacific Standard Time. UK players can expect the scheduled window to end at 8:00 AM GMT.

For Indian players, the corresponding maintenance window runs from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM IST.

However, these are scheduled maintenance timings rather than a confirmed server reopening announcement. Epic Games may need additional time to complete deployment checks before players can access online matches.

Why Are Fortnite Servers Down Today?

The November 1 outage is part of Epic Games’ planned maintenance for update v43.00. The update marks the transition from Chapter 7 Season 4, known as Override, to the new Treasure Hunters mini-season.

Epic Games also disabled matchmaking approximately 30 minutes before the scheduled maintenance began. This allowed the developer to prepare its online infrastructure for the update.

During the maintenance, players may encounter connection errors or messages indicating that Fortnite servers are unavailable. These problems affect the game’s online services rather than indicating an individual problem with a player’s device or internet connection.

What Does the Fortnite v43.00 Update Bring?

The v43.00 update introduces the Treasure Hunters mini-season, bringing new content and gameplay changes to Fortnite.

The upcoming content includes a new 80-player island, One Piece-inspired powers, new Sprites and a fresh Ranked Season. The update also features A$AP Rocky as a boss character.

The One Piece collaboration is among the major attractions for players looking forward to the new season. The crossover brings additional themed gameplay elements as part of the latest seasonal release.

Players will need to wait for maintenance to finish before accessing the new content through Fortnite’s online services.

Is Fortnite Down on PS5, Xbox and PC?

Yes. The scheduled maintenance affects Fortnite’s online infrastructure across supported platforms, including PlayStation, Xbox and PC.

Epic Games has listed game services, login, matchmaking, voice chat, parties, messaging and the Item Shop among the affected components.

Players may also experience problems accessing LEGO Fortnite and Fortnite Festival matchmaking while the maintenance remains active.

Downloading the latest game update may become necessary before returning to online matches. The availability of the update can vary depending on the platform and regional rollout.
