The National Testing Agency (NTA) has extended the last date for submission of exam fee for UGC NET December 2026 session. Now candidates can pay the application fee till 11:50 PM on November 1, 2026. This will provide relief to the candidates who submitted the application form within the stipulated time, but could not pay the fee due to any reason. Earlier the last date for payment of fees was fixed as 31 October 2026. However, this facility is provided only for depositing fees. There is no change in the deadline for making fresh application and uploading photos.

NTA has extended the fee payment deadline for UGC NET December 2026 exam by one day. Candidates who have completed the application process but have not deposited the exam fee can pay the fee up to 11:50 PM on 1st November. Earlier the last date for fee deposit was 31st October. Candidates are advised to complete the payment early instead of waiting for the last minute, to avoid technical issues.

Which candidates will get extra time?

The benefit of extension of fee deposit date will be available only to those candidates who have successfully submitted their application form within the stipulated time but have not paid the fee. Candidates who have not registered or submitted the application form cannot apply fresh during this additional time. The facility of submitting application form and uploading photo has been stopped from 31st October itself. It will not be reopened.

UGC-NET December 2026: Fee payment has been extended to 1 November 2026, 11:50 PM IST, only for candidates who have submitted their forms.
