The NEET PG 2026 results were declared on September 24, with Kajal Pathak from Madhubani, Bihar doing well by securing All India Rank 3. Kajal’s success is also special because she completed her medical studies with limited financial resources and away from her family. Even during his MBBS studies, he performed well and won a gold medal. Now he has shown the result of his hard work and discipline by securing third rank in NEET PG across the country.

Started studies from Madhubani

Kajal Pathak is a resident of Pathak Tola of Benipatti Nagar Panchayat in Madhubani District, Bihar. His father is a teacher and his maternal uncle is also a primary school teacher. The effect of the educational environment in the family was also seen on Kajal’s studies. He took his studies seriously from childhood and later decided to pursue a career in the medical field.

Despite the financial challenges, the goal did not give up

Kajal had to study away from home to fulfill her dream of becoming a doctor. Considering the financial condition of the family, his mother was initially concerned about sending him abroad for medical studies. However, Kajal was clear about her goal. She reassured her family and pursued medical studies.

He became the district topper by securing 445 marks in Inter

Kajal completed her primary education in Benipatti. After this he took the intermediate exam from Bihar board and got 445 marks out of 450. Based on this brilliant performance, he topped the Madhubani district. After this, in the year 2020 he participated in the NEET UG exam. In this he got 310 marks out of 720. He got an All India rank of 1211, while in the EWS category he was ranked 77.

MBBS and Gold Medal from Lady Hardinge

Based on NEET UG rank, Kajal got admission in MBBS at Lady Hardinge Medical College, Delhi. Even in medical college he gave full attention to his studies and performed well and won a gold medal. Along with the final year of MBBS and internship, he also started preparing for NEET PG.

Distance created from mobile

While preparing for NEET PG, Kajal adopted strict discipline for her studies. He limited the use of mobile phones and spent most of his time studying. He benefited from constant hard work, regular preparation and focus on the target in the exam. His hard work paid off in NEET PG 2026 and he hoisted the flag of success by securing All India Rank 3.
