There is an opportunity to closely understand the water supply, sewage management and sewerage system in Delhi. Delhi Jal Board (DJB) has started applications for Young Aqua Leaders Internship Program 2026. This internship is especially for students and young people who have recently completed graduation or post graduation. The duration of the program will be six months. Selected candidates will be paid per month Rs. A stipend of up to 15,000 will be available. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online through Google Form. How many candidates will be selected?

Under this internship program of Delhi Jal Board, a total of 40 candidates will be given an opportunity in each cycle. During the internship, participants will get an opportunity to understand the work related to water and wastewater management in Delhi. In this, you will get a chance to practically know the functioning of the board and the water management system. This internship will be for six months. DJB conducts internships in two sessions every year. The first session runs from October to March and the second from April to September.

Who can apply?

Students studying in any recognized university, college, institute or technical education institution can apply for this programme. Undergraduate students must be in their final year. At the same time, candidates who have completed graduation can apply only if their graduation degree was completed within the last two years from the date of application. Similarly, postgraduate candidates who have completed their Masters degree in the last two years can also apply. Applicant must be at least 18 years of age.

How much stipend will I get?

Selected graduate and post graduate candidates will be paid Rs. 15,000 will be given a stipend. Total stipend in six months is Rs. 90,000 will be up to. However, there is no stipend facility for UG final year students. Candidates will be selected based on academic record, statement of purpose and relevance of their subject to the internship.

Certificate and Best Intern Award
