Apprentice Opportunity for 335 Vacancies in Indian Oil

Marketing Division of Indian Oil, Western Region has invited applications for a total of 335 Apprentice posts. This Apprentice is mainly for candidates from Maharashtra, Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Goa, Chhattisgarh. There are apprenticeship opportunities for 99 posts of Technician, 40 for Trade, 174 for Graduate and 22 posts for Data Entry Operator.

Indian Oil has started the application process for the recruitment of apprentice posts, under which the online application can be made from October 5. Last date to apply is 4 November 2026. Applications can be made up to 5 PM on November 4, 2026. Application can be made through NAPS portal. First you have to create a profile on the respective portal. After this, you have to search and apply for the Apprenticeship Vacancy of IOCL Marketing Division Western Region.

Who can apply?

Candidates willing to do Apprenticeship to Technician Posts can apply only if they have three years Diploma in relevant Engineering Subject. While general category candidates should have minimum 50 percent marks. SC, ST and PwBD candidates should have minimum 45 percent marks in their diploma.

While candidates applying for Trade Apprentice posts must have passed 10th. Also, must have two years full-time ITI qualification in the relevant trade.

Candidates who want to do Apprenticeship on Graduate Apprentice Posts should have BA, B.Com, B.Sc., BBA degree. While for Data Entry Operator Apprentice posts candidate must have passed 12th. Candidates age limit should be between 18 to 24 years to apply. Age limit will be calculated as on 30 September 2026.

What is the selection process?

Let’s talk about the prescribed selection process for Indian Oil Apprentice. Selection will be based on merit. Merit will be prepared on the basis of the percentage of marks obtained in the educational qualification of the candidates applying for Apprenticeship. After declaration of merit, shortlisted candidates will undergo document verification and pre-engagement medical fitness test.
