Defense Research and Development Establishment (DRDE) Gwalior of Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) has invited applications for Paid Internship 2026. Eligible candidates will be selected for a total of eight posts under this programme. The special thing is that no written test will be conducted for this. Selected students will get an opportunity to do an internship for six months and will get Rs. 5,000 will be given a stipend. Interested candidates can apply till 14 November 2026.

Students of Biology, Chemistry and Engineering will get a chance in this internship of DRDO. The information about the posts is as follows.

Biology: 3 Posts
Chemistry: 3 Posts
Engineering: 2 Posts

Biology includes subjects like biotechnology, microbiology, pharmacology, toxicology and immunology. Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, Information Technology and Computer Science students can apply for Engineering.

Who can apply?

Students pursuing an MSc or equivalent degree in Biology and Chemistry should be in their third or fourth semester. At the same time, students pursuing BE/BTech in relevant engineering subjects should be in seventh or eighth semester. Applicant age should be less than 28 years as on 14 November 2026.

How much stipend will I get every month?

The duration of the internship will be six months. During this period, selected candidates will get Rs 5,000 per month. That is, in the entire program a total of Rs. 30,000 will be given a stipend. Students will get an opportunity to work on various projects with senior officials of DRDO and gain practical experience.

Selection will be done without written test

There will be no written test for this internship. The selection process will be completed based on the eligibility of the candidates and the information provided in the application. If necessary, the interview may be conducted by telephone or video conference. Offer letter will be sent to selected candidates only.

How to apply?

Candidates have to download the application form from the official notification and take a printout of it. Personal information, educational qualification, subject code and internship related information have to be filled in the form. Along with this, self-verified copies of passport size photograph, sponsorship letter, detailed resume, Aadhaar card, PAN card, bank account details and required documents have to be attached.
