IIT GATE 2027: Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras has extended the last date for registration for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2027. Candidates who have not yet applied for IIT GATE 2027 can apply till 5 October 2026. Registration i.e. IIT GATE 2027 can be applied online. The correction window opens on October 14

IIT Madras has extended the last date to apply for IIT GATE 2027 to October 4, but the rest of the schedule remains unchanged. As per the old schedule, the correction window for correction of IIT GATE 2027 application form will open on October 14 and close on October 21, 2026. While city allotment information will be available on January 4, 2027.

Who can apply for IIT GATE 2027?

Candidates who have completed a degree in Engineering/Technology/Architecture/Science/Commerce/Arts/Humanities can apply for IIT GATE 2027. Along with this, candidates currently studying in the third year or more of an undergraduate degree program can also apply.

Along with this, candidates who are pursuing or have obtained their qualifying degree from any country other than India can also apply. It is important that graduation should be completed or students should be in final year of graduation.

How to Apply for IIT GATE 2027

• First of all go to the official website of IIT GATE gate2027.iitm.ac.in.
• Click on the IIT GATE 2027 Registration link present on the home page.
• A new web page will open, in which candidates have to enter the registration information.
• After filling the complete information, click on the submit button and log in to the page.
• After this fill the application form and pay the application fee.
• Click the submit button and download the page.

When will GATE 2027 be conducted?

IIT Madras has already released the schedule of IIT GATE 2027, under which ‘Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering’ (GATE) is to be conducted by IIT Madras on February 6, 7, 13, 14, 20 and 21, 2027. The GATE exam will be conducted in two shifts, morning and afternoon.
