There is a recruitment opportunity in the police department for the youth who are preparing for government jobs in Madhya Pradesh. Madhya Pradesh Staff Selection Board (MP ESB) has invited applications for 1000 Constable Driver Posts. In this recruitment, 10th pass and 8th pass candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribe (ST) category can also apply with prescribed conditions. Possession of a valid driving license is mandatory. For selection one has to go through several stages including written exam, physical efficiency test and driving test. Online application can be made till 29 October 2026.

1000 posts will be recruited

Total 1000 Constable Driver Vacancies in Police Department will be filled under this recruitment of Madhya Pradesh Staff Selection Board. This is an opportunity for youth who are interested in driving and want to join the police service. Before applying, candidates should check their eligibility and required documents.

Educational Qualification and Driving License

Candidates from General, OBC and SC category should have passed 10th from a recognized board in this recruitment. At the same time, the minimum educational qualification for ST category candidates has been fixed as 8 passes. Additionally, it is mandatory for the candidate to have a valid Light Motor Vehicle (LMV) or Heavy Motor Vehicle (HMV) driving license. Age Limit and Relaxation

Candidates applying should have minimum age of 18 years and maximum age of 33 years. Candidates belonging to Madhya Pradesh, women and candidates belonging to SC, ST and OBC categories will be given relaxation of 5 years in the maximum age limit as per rules. After this the maximum age limit for eligible candidates can be 38 years.

Selection will be done in four stages

• Written Exam: Computer based exam will have to appear.
• Physical Test: There will be tests like physical parameters and gender.
• Driving Test: Driving skill test of the candidates will be examined.
• Medical and Document Verification: In the final round there will be health test and verification of certificates. Then the merit list will be prepared.
