What is the expert opinion?
Neha Aggarwal, Managing Director and Head of Equity Capital Markets at JM Financial Limited, said that the second half of the year has seen strong activity in the Indian primary market. However, due to stock market fluctuations and geopolitical developments, companies may have to choose the right time to launch an IPO, but investors are interested in shares of quality companies. He said the public issue market is being supported by adequate capital available with domestic institutional investors and preferred participation of foreign investors.
