Important information for students preparing for JEE Main 2027 has come to light. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the exam syllabus. Candidates preparing for admission to Engineering, Architecture and Planning courses can visit the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in to view the syllabus and download its PDF. For BE/B.Tech you have to study Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
Whereas, separate papers have been set for B.Arch and B.Planning. With the help of syllabus students can understand the topics and important topics and make better strategies for their preparation.
JEE Main 2027 will have three papers
In JEE Main 2027, three papers are scheduled for admission to various courses. Paper 1 is for admission to BE/B.Tech. Paper 2A is taken for B.Arch and Paper 2B for B. Planning. Candidates should start the preparation by looking at the syllabus as per their chosen course.
These are the main subjects to be studied in Physics
Physics course consists of 20 units in total. It will cover topics such as mechanics, thermodynamics, electricity, magnetism, optics and modern physics.
Major topics include units and measurements, laws of motion, work, energy and power, rotational motion, gravity, oscillations, electrostatics, electric current, magnetism, electromagnetic waves, atoms and nuclei. Apart from this, electronic equipment and practical skills are also part of the curriculum.
Chemistry consists of 20 units
Chemistry course also has 20 units. It covers practical chemistry along with physical, inorganic and organic chemistry. Students have to prepare for topics like atomic structure, chemical bonding, thermodynamics, chemical equilibrium, electrochemistry, chemical kinetics, coordination compounds, hydrocarbons and biomolecules.
14 units will be prepared in Maths.
The Mathematics course has a total of 14 units. It includes topics like algebra, calculus, coordinate geometry, trigonometry and probability. Important topics are sets, relations and functions, complex numbers, matrices, determinants, permutations and combinations, binomial theorems, sequences and series, integration, differential equations, three-dimensional geometry, vectors and statistics.
The syllabus of B.Arch and B.Planning is different
Paper 2A of B.Arch consists of Mathematics, Aptitude Test and Drawing Test. Whereas in Paper 2B of BPlanning, questions related to Mathematics, Aptitude Test and Planning have been asked. Students preparing for both these courses should pay attention to the syllabus of the respective papers.
