Calendar year 2026 is to reach its peak. The month of October will end in a few days. After that only the months of November and December will remain. These two months are very important from the point of view of banking. There is a reason for that too. Many festivals will come in these two months. There will be more people coming and going in the banks. Bank holidays will also be very important in such a situation. If we look at RBI’s list of holidays, there will be 33 days of bank holidays in these two months.
Here we tell you one thing that these holidays are not celebrated simultaneously in the whole country. Some holidays are state and city specific. In such a case, those holidays will be limited to a particular city or state. Not in any other city. There will also be many holidays where banks across the country will be closed. As on the day of Diwali, there will be a holiday in banks across the country. We also let you know which cities will have bank holidays in the months of November and December.
