Infinix has launched its new gaming smartphone GT 50 Pro in India. The phone has a MediaTek Dimensity 8400 Ultimate processor, an AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and a 6,500mAh battery. The company has specially designed it with mobile game players in mind. The phone also has special shoulder triggers for playing games and a liquid cooling system to reduce heat.
Infinix GT 50 Pro Price and Offers
The Infinix GT 50 Pro with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage model has been priced at Rs 69,999 in India. The phone will be available in Black Abyss and Red Blaze colors. It can be purchased from Flipkart and the company’s official online store.
As part of the launch offer, the company is giving away a free gaming accessories package worth Rs 24,999 along with the phone. This includes the GT NX Station, GT NX Controller, GT Cooling Fan cum Charger and the GT 50 Pro’s MagSafe Cover.
In addition, an instant discount of Rs 5,000 will be availed on payment through selected bank cards. Customers can also opt for no-cost EMIs up to 18 months through eligible bank cards. Its initial installment is said to be Rs 3,611. The company is also offering up to 6,999 Infinix Rewards points. At the same time, customers can access a library of over 1,000 games for just Rs 1 with a JioGames Pro Pass.
Infinix GT 50 Pro features and specifications
The Infinix GT 50 Pro has a 6.78-inch LTPS AMOLED display. It has a resolution of 1.5K and a refresh rate of up to 144Hz. According to the company, the peak brightness of the screen is up to 4,500 nits. Its instant touch sampling rate is 2,800Hz. Corning Gorilla Glass 7i is provided to protect the screen.
The phone has MediaTek Dimensity 8400 Ultimate processor built on 4nm technology and Mali-G720 MC7 GPU. Along with this, there is an option of up to 12GB LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB UFS 4.1 storage. The phone runs on XOS 16 based on Android 16.
For gaming, it has special shoulder buttons that work with pressure. This can be set for different game controls. The company’s Hydroflow liquid cooling system helps to control the heat of the phone during long gaming sessions.
Camera and battery
For photography, the phone has a 50-megapixel main camera on the back, which comes with OIS i.e. Optical Image Stabilization. It also has an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera. It has a 13-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calls.
The phone has a 6,500mAh battery. It supports 45W wired fast charging and 30W wireless charging. Apart from this, 10W wired and 5W wireless reverse charging is also available.
Other features include an in-display fingerprint sensor, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, USB Type-C port and an IR blaster. The phone has got an IP64 rating for protection against dust and water.
Gaming Accessories
Along with the phone, Infinix has also introduced accessories like GT NX Controller, GT NX Station and GT MagCharge Cooler 2.0. Physical buttons can be used to play mobile games with a controller. With the GT NX Station you can connect the phone to an external display and play games on the big screen. At the same time, the magnetic cooler helps to control the temperature of the phone during gaming. According to the company, this cooler also supports wireless bypass charging.
