It is expected to have a bigger battery than before along with a dual rear camera setup. This phone can be launched in 2027.

According to a report by Gizmochina, the new model may feature a larger battery and two rear cameras. If this information turns out to be true, the previous complaints about the camera and battery in the iPhone Air may go away. According to the leak, the iPhone Air 2 could feature a 6.55-inch flat OLED screen. It will have a resolution of 1.5K+ and the display can support 120Hz LTPO refresh rate.

With the help of this, scrolling the screen on the phone can be used more smoothly than before. For performance, it is expected to get an A20 series chipset. This processor can be manufactured on 2nm technology. However, Apple has not yet given any official information about the phone’s hardware.

The battery could be 11% bigger

Good news has also come out regarding the battery of iPhone Air 2. According to the tipster, it could be powered by a 3,500mAh battery. At the same time, the first generation iPhone Air has a 3,149mAh battery. That means the battery of the new model could be around 11 percent bigger. This is expected to improve the phone’s battery life. Earlier too, the same tipster claimed a 3,500mAh battery based on information from the supply chain. Talking about the camera, the iPhone Air 2 could get a 48-megapixel primary camera and a new ultra-wide camera. The first generation offered only one camera at the back. Apart from this, Face ID is also expected in the new model.

According to reports, Apple may introduce the iPhone Air 2 in spring 2027. It is likely to be launched alongside iPhone 18 and iPhone 18e.
