When it comes to buying a bike in India, the Hero Splendor is still the people’s choice. Its popularity can be gauged from the fact that over 21.30 lakh units were sold in the first six months of FY 2027 i.e. from April to September 2026. An average of 11,836 people bought it per day during this period. In terms of sales, the Splendor has even surpassed popular models like Honda Shine and Bajaj Pulsar. Let’s find out which were the top 20 bikes of the country in these six months.

Which bike got the most buyers?

A total of 21,30,637 units of Hero Splendor were sold between April and September 2026. 17,80,081 units were sold in the same period last year. That is, there was a good increase in its demand on an annual basis. On the other hand, combined sales of Honda Shine 125 and SP 125 stood at 9,65,571 units. Taking these two models together, the Splendor’s sales were lower at 11,65,066 units. From this it can be estimated how far Splendor is ahead of other bikes in the sales race.

These bikes had the highest demand in the first half of FY27

Several models have shown good growth in the top 20 bike sales figures. Bajaj Pulsar is third with sales of 6,33,015 units. However, 6,79,612 units were sold during the same period last year. TVS Apache sold 3,34,347 units, Royal Enfield Classic 350 sold 2,43,132 units and Honda CB Unicorn 150 sold 2,28,721 units. Sales of TVS Ronin also increased to 61,829 units.
