The duration of this training is decided by the Central Government in consultation with the concerned State Government. The new system will change the traditional sequence of officer training. However, what is the purpose of affiliation with Ministry of Home Affairs and what experience will trainee officers get from it.
The passing out parade of the 78th regular recruitment batch of IPS was held on October 17 at the National Police Academy, Hyderabad. In which 135 Indian and 16 foreign trainee officers participated. After the parade, questions were raised on social media regarding the marching of some officers.
