Keeping in view the growing demand for SUVs in the Indian market, companies are constantly introducing new models. Meanwhile, Hyundai Bayon is in the news for its unique design and modern features. The SUV is bigger than the sedan in terms of dimensions and is also slightly wider than the Creta. Its design may appeal to those who want a spacious car with a stylish look.
The Hyundai Bayon is built on the company’s Global K platform. It gets L-shaped DRLs, LED headlights, sporty cladding and 17-inch alloy wheels. The SUV has a ground clearance of 205mm, which can help it drive even on rough roads.
These features can be found in Hyundai Bayon
The cabin of this SUV has been kept quite modern. A 12.3-inch digital driver display and a large touchscreen infotainment system are available on the dashboard. Apart from this, features like 360-degree camera, front seat ventilation, panoramic sunroof, electric parking brake and electrically adjustable driver’s seat are provided.
It also has Blind View Monitor and Level-2 ADAS. These technologies are designed to monitor the surrounding conditions while driving and help the driver in some difficult situations. The touchscreen also features an AI assistant, which can understand regional languages.
Will you get this much space?
The main highlight of the Hyundai Bayon is its 505 liter boot space. This means that it can hold many bags and important items when going out with the family. Legroom and shoulder room for rear passengers are also said to be good. Recline feature is available in the rear seats, through which the passengers can change the seating position as per their convenience. However, it lacks some Creta-like features like sunblinds for the rear window and powered boot release.
Power will be provided by a 1.5-litre petrol engine
The Hyundai Bayon is powered by a 1.5-litre four-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine. It generates a power of 115bhp. Along with this, 6-speed manual and iVT automatic gearbox options are available. The automatic model also comes with paddle shifters and a boost mode, which can help increase speed quickly when needed. Currently, it does not have diesel, turbo-petrol, hybrid or CNG engine options.
