This luxury sports car is cheaper in India by Rs 4 crore, effect of India-UK deal

British luxury car company Aston Martin has drastically reduced the prices of its cars in the Indian market. Some of the company’s cars have now become cheaper by Rs 4 crore. The biggest reason for this price reduction is the Free Trade Agreement (FTA) between India and Britain. After this deal, the import duty on cars coming from Britain to India has been relaxed. The company has decided to pass the benefit of this tax relief directly to the customers.

After this change, almost the entire car range of Aston Martin has become much cheaper than before. The biggest reduction has been made on the company’s flagship car, the Vanquish Volante. Its price has come down by Rs 4.02 crore.

New Aston Martin Car Prices

  • Aston Martin’s cheapest car Vantage S has now been priced at Rs 3.15 crore. Earlier it was priced at Rs 4.99 crore. That means customers can now buy it at a lower price of Rs 1.84 crore.
  • The price of the Vantage Roadster has been reduced by Rs 1.91 crore. Earlier this car was available for Rs 5.26 crore, but now its ex-showroom price has come down to Rs 3.35 crore.
  • The company’s luxury SUV DBX has also become cheaper than before. Its price has been reduced from Rs 6.80 crore to Rs 4.15 crore. That means its price has reduced by 2.65 crore rupees.
  • The price of the DB12 S has been reduced by Rs 2.52 crore and the price of the DB12 S Volante by Rs 2.65 crore. This change will give a big relief to customers who are planning to buy the company’s sports car.

Biggest reduction on Vanquish Volante

Aston Martin’s flagship Vanquish series has also received a major cut. The price of Vanquish Coupe was earlier Rs 10.11 crore, which has now come down to Rs 6.40 crore. In this way, its price has been reduced by 3.71 crore rupees. At the same time, the price of Vanquish Volante has been slashed the most by Rs 4.02 crore. Earlier it was priced at Rs 10.92 crore ex-showroom, but now it will be available for Rs 6.90 crore.

Thus, the benefits of free trade agreement between India and Britain are clearly visible in Aston Martin car prices. Prices of British-made cars are falling due to the fall in import duties. The impact of the FTA between India and the European Union (EU) in the coming time can also be seen on the prices of cars made in Europe.
