TVS Motor has once again updated its 125cc bike Raider 125. A few months after receiving the update in April 2026, the company has rolled it out with new features. Notably, units of the new 2027 TVS Raider 125 have already started arriving in showrooms from the beginning of this month. The update, made ahead of the festive season, is aimed at attracting customers to the bike and boosting showroom sales.

This time some new features have been added to the bike and some old parts have been modified. Its selected expensive variants get special updates. It includes TFT DD and SXC DD. An SSE variant has also been mentioned on the company’s website, but full details about its changes have not been given in the press release.

What is the price of TVS Raider 125?

The price of the bike has been slightly changed with the update. The new SXC DD variant has been priced at Rs 1,00,330 ex-showroom. Whereas, you will have to spend Rs 1,03,330 for the TFT DD variant. In terms of price and features, these variants have been introduced targeting customers who want some premium features in the 125cc segment.

Features like traction control and emergency brake alert

The most important update to the 2027 TVS Raider 125 is the Traction Control System (TCS). This feature is not commonly found in the 125cc bike segment. Its function is to help the tire maintain grip, especially in situations where the wheel slips. This can help the rider handle the bike on slippery or difficult roads.

This system can also be turned on or off as needed. Apart from this, this bike now also has an emergency brake warning feature. This helps in warning the people behind in case of sudden sharp braking.

Now you get a wide rear tire and a Type-C charging port

TVS has also increased the rear tire size of the Raider 125. Earlier it had a 110-section rear tire, while now a 120-section wider tire is offered. Along with this, the small petal disc brake at the rear has been replaced by a larger and simpler designed disc brake. The bike now also has a USB Type-C fast charging port with 27W output. This will make it easy to charge mobile phones and other important devices during the ride.

However, no changes have been made to the turn indicator. These still feature halogen bulbs, while the company’s less premium Radeon bikes offer LED indicators. Depending on the variant, the Raider 125 also gets a TFT instrument cluster, which supports over 99 connected features, including navigation.

There is no change in engine and performance

Despite the new update, the engine of the TVS Raider 125 remains unchanged. As before, it has a 125cc air/oil-cooled engine, featuring a 3-valve head. This engine generates around 11 bhp of power and 11 Nm of torque. A 5-speed gearbox is available with it.

Features like LED headlight, LED DRL, LED taillight, riding modes, premium switchgear, split seat option, telescopic front fork and rear monoshock are present in the bike as before. Overall, instead of increasing the engine power this time, the company has focused on safety, tires and features related to daily needs.
