PM Kisan 24th installment: The festive season is around the corner. In such a situation, crores of farmers across the country are eagerly waiting for the 24th installment of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-Kisan) scheme. Through this scheme, the central government provides financial assistance of Rs 6,000 per year to eligible farm families. This amount in the bank account of the beneficiary farmers is Rs. 2,000 is remitted directly in three installments. The government had earlier announced the 23rd installment on June 20. Four months have passed now. In such a situation, every farmer’s eyes are fixed on the date of the next installment.

You may get gift before Diwali

The rule of PM Kisan Yojana is that generally one installment is released every four months. If we look at this timeline, the 24th installment is likely to come in this month i.e. October. Recently, Nilesh Chaurasia, Deputy Director of Agriculture, Department of Agriculture also hinted about this. He said that the next installment may come in the month of October. As we know, this year the big festival of Diwali is on November 8. In such a situation, there is every hope that the government will announce the 24th installment before Diwali. This can prove to be a great festive gift for farmers. However, one thing must be kept in mind. No fixed date has been announced by the government yet. Government officials have made it clear that farmers should not believe the claims made on social media. Such claims may be fraudulent.

Due to which defects can the installment stop?

It often happens that the government sends money, but does not reach the account. If you do not fulfill the eligibility conditions of PM Kisan Yojana, your 24th installment may also be stopped. Farmers need to be careful in such a situation. First of all, check that no important paperwork has been left incomplete on your part. Farmers should scrutinize a few things in particular. First of all, check whether the information you provided at the time of registration is correct or not. After this, check whether your e-KYC process is complete or not. Verification of land records is also very important. Finally, make sure your Aadhaar card is linked to your bank account. If any of these procedures are incomplete, complete them immediately through the relevant official channel.

Check your payment status at home

Now farmers need not go to the office to get information about their installments. Farmers can check their installment status online at the comfort of their homes. This also helps to know why installments have not been credited to the account. There is a very simple process for this.

1. First open the official website on your mobile or computer.
2. On the homepage of the website you will see an option of ‘Know Your Status’, click on it.
3. After this enter your PM Kisan registration number there. Then fill the captcha code shown on the screen correctly.
4. After this click on ‘Get OTP’ button below. An OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number, through which the verification has to be completed.
5. As soon as this process is completed, your complete information from registration to payment will appear on the screen. Keep checking the website from time to time for new information regarding the 24th installment.
