There is a big update for the candidates who are waiting for Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) in Uttar Pradesh. Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC) has started preparations to conduct UP TET 2027. In this series, it is proposed to conduct UP TET 2027 in February 2027. UPESSC has recently presented this information before the Allahabad High Court regarding the proposed schedule of UP TET 2027. The information presented in the High Court also revealed that there are plans to organize UP TET twice every year in the coming years.

UP TET 2027 in the last week of February

A division bench in the Allahabad High Court, while hearing a petition, sought the proposed schedule of UP TET from the UPSC. Acting on this, UPESSC has recently informed the High Court about the schedule of UP TET 2027, under which UP TET 2027 is proposed to be held in the last week of February. It is believed that the result of UP TET 2027 will also be declared by May.

TGT candidates have got chance till 30th June

The application process for the recruitment of TGT posts in UP is going on. UPESSC has given relaxation to non-TET candidates in TGT recruitment 2026 with conditions, under which non-TET candidates can apply for TGT recruitment 2026, along with this they can also appear in the recruitment exam, but it will be mandatory for all such candidates to clear TET by 30th June. In such a situation TET 2020 was recommended in UP2207. February is important for such candidates.

Preparation to conduct UP TET twice a year

UPESSC is now working on a plan to conduct UP TET twice a year, under which TET is planned to be held in July and January of every academic year. In fact, in this regard, the National Council of Teaching Education (NCTE) has issued guidelines for taking TET twice a year. Following this, UPESSC is working on a plan to conduct TET twice a year. Since 2011 till now, TET has not been conducted twice in any year in UP.
