This is an important update for the candidates who are preparing for CAT 2026. The Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Indore has opened the correction window for corrections in Common Entrance Examination 2026 application form. Candidates who have applied for CAT 2026 and have made a mistake in photo, signature or exam city related information can now change it while filling the form. Candidates will have opportunity to amend till 5 October 2026. For this, they have to visit the official website iimcat.ac.in and make necessary corrections in the application form using their login credentials.

Candidates are not allowed to change all the information in the correction window of CAT 2026. Candidates can correct only prescribed information. It includes passport size photograph, signature and choice of exam city.

If the photograph uploaded in the application is not clear or not as per the prescribed size and format, the candidate can change it. Likewise, incorrect or unclear signatures can also be updated with appropriate digital images. A facility to change the test city option selected for taking the exam is also provided.

This information will not change

Candidates should note that changing information like name, date of birth, email id and mobile number is not allowed in the correction window. Apart from this, information regarding 10th, 12th and graduation marks or other educational qualification cannot be amended.

The CAT 2026 exam will be held on 29th November

As per IIM Indore schedule, CAT 2026 exam will be conducted on 29 November 2026. This computer based exam will be conducted in three sessions in around 170 cities of the country. The admit card of the candidates can be downloaded from 4th November 2026.

How to modify application form

To revise, candidates should first visit iimcat.ac.in. After this, login to the account by entering your login id and password. Now make the necessary changes through the edit option available in the application form. If applicable, pay the correction fee and submit the form. After completing the corrections, download the updated form and keep its printout safe. Candidates are advised to read the guidelines given on the official website of CAT 2026 before making corrections.
