Samsung has launched its new smartphone Galaxy A08 in the budget segment. The company has introduced it targeting users who want a large battery, good camera and long-term software support at a low price. Features of the phone include a 6,000mAh battery, 50MP dual rear cameras and a large display with a 90Hz refresh rate.

Samsung Galaxy A08 has been launched in India in only one configuration. Its 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant is priced at Rs 18,499. The phone has already gone on sale at Samsung’s exclusive stores, major retail stores, the company’s website and other online platforms.
Talking about the color options, the Galaxy A08 can be bought in Dark Blue, Green and Silver shades. Samsung also offers no-cost EMI facility for up to 6 months on select bank cards. In addition, some NBFC partners will have an option to purchase the phone in easy installments for 9 months.
Software support will be available for 6 years
One of the biggest features of Galaxy A08 is its long software support. While budget phones usually receive a limited number of updates, Samsung promises 6 generations of OS upgrades and 6 years of security updates with this model. Samsung Knox security is also provided in the phone. It helps to protect users’ passwords, personal information and biometric data.
Apart from this, AI features like Circle to Search 3.0, Google Gemini and Perplexity are supported in the phone. Gemini and Confusion can be asked questions by long pressing the power button or by voice. Other Samsung features like Quick Share and Mods and Routines are also available in the phone.
