Jeep has launched a special Whitecap Mojito Limited Edition of its popular off-road SUV Wrangler in the Indian market. Its ex-showroom price has been kept at Rs 73.55 lakh. This special edition is based on the Wrangler Rubicon and is priced at Rs 1.25 lakh more than the Rubicon. The company allotted only 25 units for India and the special thing is that all these units have been sold.

Jeep has produced a total of 250 units of the Whitecap Edition worldwide. In such a situation the Indian market has got only a small part of it. According to the company, it will be delivered to customers through registered Jeep dealerships by the end of October 2026.

The design is most special

The biggest distinguishing feature of this limited edition is its bright green ‘mojito’ exterior color. It has been given a white roof, which gives the SUV a different look from the usual Wrangler. A white finish around the front grill is also available. At the same time, special ‘1941’ decals have been installed on the sides. This marks the year of Jeep’s first Willys MB vehicle.

The rear of the SUV has been given a white colored ‘4 Wheel Drive’ sticker. Additionally, the fenders have been kept in body color. Overall, instead of major changes in its design, it has been made special by color and small details.

These features will be available in the cabin

Compared to the standard Rubicon, the cabin of the Whitecap Mojito has two special features. These include a built-in dashcam and a sturdy grab handle. Rest of the features are kept same as before. It has a 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen, 12-way power adjustable front seats and dual-zone climate control. For music, a 9-speaker Alpine sound system with subwoofer is provided. Apart from this, a 7-inch driver display, six airbags and ADAS features are also available.

There is no change in engine and off-roading capability

The Jeep Wrangler Whitecap Mojito has the same engine as the Rubicon. It has a 2.0 liter four-cylinder direct-injection turbo-petrol engine, which generates 272 hp of power and 400 Nm of torque. It is mated to an 8-speed automatic gearbox. A standard 4×4 system is also available in the SUV.

For off-roading, it features a strong Dana axle, integrated off-road camera, strong suspension and rock rails. Apart from this, there are 255-section off-road tires on 17-inch wheels and front fender flares give more ground clearance.

A special Wrangler edition has already arrived

Jeep has also previously introduced the Wrangler 1941 Willy Edition in the Indian market. This edition was dedicated to the company’s military heritage and only 30 units were built for India. Its ex-showroom price was Rs 73.24 lakh. It had 1941 decals on the bonnet and special ’41 Green’ paint.

A limited edition Whitecap Mojito Edition has also been made available. All 25 of its Indian units have been sold, so the opportunity to buy this particular SUV is now limited.
