The entry of the Hero Xpulse 450 will create a stir, with a 421cc engine and these special features.

Hero MotoCorp has launched its new adventure bike Xpulse 450 at EICMA 2026. It has been introduced as the company’s biggest and flagship adventure bike. It has a new 421 cc liquid-cooled engine. Apart from this, the bike will have adjustable suspension and a 7-inch TFT screen, which also supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Due to these features, it ranks well above the Xpulse 210.

Hero Expels 450: Engine and Performance

The new Xpulse 450 has a 421 cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine. This engine produces 46.7 hp of power at 9,100 rpm and 38 Nm of torque at 7,500 rpm. In comparison, the Xpulse 210 has 24.6 hp of power and 20.7 Nm of torque. That means both power and torque are very high in the new bike.

The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox and a slip-and-sist clutch. According to Hero, the help of the Hero Motosports team has also been taken in preparing the bike. This is the reason why its design and performance resembles that of a rally bike.

Hero Xpulse 450: Suspension and Hardware

At the front of the bike is a 43 mm KYB cartridge type USD fork, which has 225 mm of travel. This is 15 mm taller than the Xpulse 210. Its suspension can be adjusted in 22 different steps. With this, the rider will be able to set the suspension according to his needs and route. However, the company is yet to give complete details about the rear suspension. It is expected to get a monoshock setup, with the option to adjust compression and rebound.

Hero Xpulse 450: Smart Features

The most special thing about this bike is its 7 inch TFT screen. It has support for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Hero claims that this feature is available for the first time in this segment. Apart from this, 4 riding modes and traction control are also provided in the bike.

When will it come to India?

Hero has not yet announced the price and launch date of the Xpulse 450 in India. First it will be launched in global markets. According to reports, its entry in India may take place in the second half of 2027. After launch, it will compete with KTM 390 Adventure and Royal Enfield Himalayan 450.

The biggest change will be the new Toyota Innova High Cross, which will get a flex-fuel hybrid engine for the first time!
