All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi has started the application process for the fellowship program for January 2027 session. Under this recruitment, doctors will get an opportunity for advanced medical training at a total of 93 seats in 34 specialties. Out of these 54 seats have been allotted for open category and 39 seats for sponsored category. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online till 11 November 2026 5 PM.
For this candidates have to visit the official website of AIIMS aiimsexams.ac.in. The entrance exam will be held on 5 December 2026.

Fellowship at AIIMS Delhi is a useful opportunity for doctors who want to enhance their skills in the medical field. Online registration for the fellowship program has started from 28 October 2026. Last date to apply is 11 November 2026. Interested candidates have to complete the application process by the stipulated time. After this the entrance exam will be held on 5 December 2026.
Who can apply?
Eligibility for this recruitment is determined according to the respective experts. Generally, to apply in certain subjects, a candidate must possess an MD or MS degree in the relevant field or an equivalent qualification recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC). Along with this, post graduation three years of teaching experience in a recognized institution as Senior Resident or its equivalent is also sought.
At the same time, some specialties may require higher medical degrees such as DM or MCH. So, before applying, please check the eligibility and other conditions of the respective subject in the prospectus.
