Budget 5G smartphones are still attracting buyers who want modern connectivity without spending too much. The POCO C85x 5G is one such device, combining a large battery, a high-refresh-rate display and 5G support in a relatively affordable package.
The smartphone was launched in India in March 2026. At launch, its starting price was ₹10,999 for the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant, while the 4GB RAM and 128GB model was priced at ₹11,999.
POCO C85x 5G Price and Availability
The POCO C85x 5G went on sale in India through Flipkart from March 14, 2026. It is available in Black, Gold and Green colour options, with storage available in 64GB and 128GB configurations.
Current online listings can vary from the original launch price. For example, Gadgets 360 recently listed the 4GB+64GB version from around ₹13,874, while prices can differ depending on the seller, colour and ongoing offers.
6.9-inch Display With 120Hz Refresh Rate
The phone features a large 6.9-inch HD+ IPS LCD display with a 1600×720-pixel resolution. Its 120Hz refresh rate is designed to make scrolling and everyday navigation feel smoother than a standard 60Hz panel.
The display also supports up to 240Hz touch sampling and offers peak brightness of up to 800 nits. POCO has also highlighted TÜV Rheinland certification for the screen.
6300mAh Battery With 15W Charging
Battery life is one of the main highlights of the POCO C85x 5G. The smartphone packs a 6300mAh battery, and POCO claims it can provide up to two days of usage under normal conditions.
Charging support includes 15W wired charging, while the phone also supports 7.5W reverse wired charging. POCO claims the battery can retain 80% health after 1,000 charging cycles.
32MP Camera and Unisoc Processor
For photography, the phone comes with a dual rear-camera setup featuring a 32MP primary camera. An 8MP front camera handles selfies and video calls.
The device is powered by the Unisoc T8300 octa-core chipset with a maximum clock speed of 2.2GHz. It comes with 4GB LPDDR4X RAM and 64GB or 128GB internal storage. A microSD card can expand storage up to 2TB.
Android 16, 5G and Other Features
The POCO C85x 5G runs Android 16 with Xiaomi’s HyperOS interface. Both SIM slots support 5G, while connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.4 and USB Type-C.
The phone also includes a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, face unlock, a 3.5mm headphone jack and an IP52 rating for basic dust and water protection. It weighs around 210 grams.
For everyday tasks such as calling, social media, streaming, browsing and general app usage, the specifications make the phone clearly focused on the budget segment. Its hardware, however, is not positioned as a high-performance gaming or intensive video-editing device.
